COMPATIBILITY UPDATE:
- Acronis Files Connect 10.7 adds support for the following operating systems
- macOS 10.15 Catalina
- Windows Server 2016 Essentials
- This release requires macOS 10.7 Lion or later.
- You may now also download the Acronis Files Connect Mac client installer from an optionally created "Acronis Mac Resources" AFP volume
- Minor search improvements
- Acronis Content Indexing will index Finder Tags and File Size under Filename Only indexes
- Minor usability improvements in the Administration interface.
- You can now select multiple files/folders from the Exclusions window.
- In the Settings window, on the File Server tab, the check box "Allow clear text logins" is removed. You still can modify its value by using the registry key AllowClearTextLogin.
- In the Settings window, on the File Server tab, the button "Configure Types and Creators" that opens the Types and Creators mapping dialog is removed. You can still modify these mappings by using the Type_Creators registry key.
- The Advanced button in the Volume Properties window is now hidden by default. You can enable the button through a registry setting. See Using Advanced Volume Properties.
- In the Settings dialog box, on the Files Server tab, the check box "Convert Windows shortcuts to Mac links" is renamed to "Present Windows Shortcuts as Mac Aliases" for clarity.
- Fixed a bug where search by Last Modified Date was not working as expected in the Finder app.
- Fixed a bug where the Date Modified column was not properly populated in the Finder search window on macOS 10.14 Mojave.
- In the Volume Properties window, the option "Convert shortcuts to aliases" that was used for Varonis specific links is removed and no longer supported.
